Weekly music workshops ranging from the traditional to the contemporary, the Masala Sessions give you the opportunity to learn Indian music, Hip Hop and DJ'ing skills from some of the finest local, national and international talent.
Masala Sessions - Indian Music Workshops
The Masala Sessions introduce individuals to the art of playing traditional Indian instruments. During workshops individuals are given an opportunity to develop their skills on the TABLA, HARMONIUM and SITAR. 
The commitment and enthusiasm from teachers and pupils alike in this group makes a strong contribution to South Asian arts in the North East.

The Full Phat Masala Project works with young people introducing them to and developing their skills in:
- MC'ing
- Lyric writing
- Rapping
- Dj'ing
- Sampling, drumming and sequencing
- Studio recording
The workshops give young people from local communities the opportunity to experiment with a variety of western, urban, hip hop and RnB music mixed with Asian instrumentation and samples.
